Jamie L. Johnson, Founder & Principal Consultant

Jamie L. Johnson is the Founder and Principal Consultant of ForgePoint Industrial Training, a workforce performance consultancy focused on strengthening frontline capabilities across manufacturing, energy, and heavy industrial operations.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning military engineering, industrial operations, and enterprise workforce development, Jamie has built and led large-scale training organizations responsible for developing thousands of technical professionals in complex operational environments.

Through ForgePoint, Jamie partners with manufacturers to architect workforce capability systems that enhance technical proficiency, frontline leadership, and operational execution.

He is the architect of the FORGE Method™, ForgePoint’s proprietary workforce performance methodology designed to help organizations:
• Identify workforce capability risks
• Capture critical operational knowledge
• Accelerate employee competence
• Align training to operational performance metrics

Prior to founding ForgePoint, Jamie served as Operations Training Department Head at General Dynamics NASSCO, directing a 47-person organization supporting 3,200 craft professionals and supervisors. He later served as Director of Technical Training & Development at Fairlife (The Coca-Cola Company), leading enterprise workforce initiatives across North American manufacturing facilities.

Earlier in his career, Jamie supported operations at Marathon Petroleum and served 20 years in the United States Navy in infrastructure and engineering leadership roles. He holds a Master of Science in Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Management from Grand Canyon University.
